The Best Retirement Communities.
The first thing people ask me is what I like about Mesquite, NV. and what I don’t like.
What I like is the weather first. Coming from Park City, Utah were I had to blow and shovel snow all winter, it’s nice to have 60 degree days in February. I can golf, bike, walk and enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful sunny days make me happy. Mesquite has 325 days of sunshine.
I love the feeling of being in a small town with very little traffic. The entire city is 35 miles an hour or less. Kind of makes you slow down and smell the roses. Very relaxing, which is what I want at my age and everyone is so friendly.
The housing is very affordable, the cost of living is low and you have everything you need here in Mesquite. There’s a Ace hardware, Wal Mart, Smiths, Department store, and much more. You might need to make a St. George run once a month to stock up at Costco or do some other shopping. It’s a quick 40 Minute drive.
Mesquite have great eateries and there’s always some great entertainment happening in town between the three Casinos. Most of it is free or with minimal charge. If you want big entertainment Las Vegas in one hour away.
Mesquite is close to multiple state parks, Lakes and other recreational areas.
Did you know this is golf heaven with 7 courses and there is no state income tax!
When asked what I don’t like about Mesquite, Nevada, I haven’t been able to think of anything. I even like the summer weather around the pool.
